Baltimore County Warrant Records Baltimore County Warrant Records

This page explains what we can help with and where official questions about a Baltimore County warrant belong. Most requests go to the Sheriff or to the court that issued the warrant rather than to us, so the routing below sends each kind of question to the office that can answer it.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear one, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice to anyone. Each of those needs the issuing court or the Baltimore County Sheriff's Office.

Need Official Warrant Information?

The route depends on what the question actually is. These are the four that come up most often in Baltimore County:

  • Whether a warrant exists: start with the court that issued the process, then call the Sheriff's Warrant Services section at 410-887-3151 for service questions
  • A bench warrant for a missed date: contact the court that set the case, which holds the warrant and controls whether it is recalled
  • Traffic or citation warrants: call the District Court location where the hearing was set, at Catonsville, Towson, or Essex
  • Support warrants and purge amounts: call the Sheriff at 410-887-3151 or the county support administration at 1-800-332-6347

For warrants and court records at the county level, the two primary contacts are:

  • Baltimore County Sheriff's Office, Warrant Services Section: 410-887-3151, or sheriff@baltimorecountymd.gov. Child-support warrant questions can go to childsupportwarrants@baltimorecountymd.gov.
  • Clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County: 401 Bosley Avenue, Towson, MD 21204, 410-887-2601. The Clerk's Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except legal holidays.
  • District Court locations: Catonsville at 1 Rolling Cross Road, 410-512-2500; Towson at 120 E. Chesapeake Avenue, 410-512-2000; Essex at 8914 Kelso Drive, 410-512-2300.

Traffic citation questions that are not about a warrant can go to the Traffic Processing Center at 1-800-492-2656. The Warrant Services work area itself is restricted and is not a public walk-in counter, so call before going anywhere.
